Generation Hope International

This is beyond our budget, but not beyond God’s provisions.  “If not you, who? If not now, when?” Together we can make a difference.

Generation Hope International was founded in December of 2015 as a Florida base not for profit organization. It became an extension of Horizon of Hope that was established in June 1998. The organization changed its name to reflect its mission not only in Romania, but also in Haiti, Honduras and India. Our focus became centered upon helping orphan, abandoned and underprivileged children.

Moved with compassion for suffering children, Dr. Marvin Lane, organized the Village of Hope in Inue de Cris, Romania in 1999. Five houses were built to provide family-style homes for children. When children arrive at the Village of Hope, they become part of our family. We are committed to care for them to adulthood.

What is happening to the orphan children in Ukraine?

The entire world’s attention is drawn to the invasion of Ukraine.  The atrocities that are taking place is beyond our comprehension. As a ministry that is dedicated to caring for orphan children, our hearts are broken for the welfare of these precious children in Ukraine.  It would be a tragedy for us to sit passively by and do nothing.

Our ministry cannot help all of these dear children, but we can help some!  Our Executive Director, Aurora Horj, began to reach out to foundations in Ukraine. We informed them that we are prepared to open our homes to these little refugees. God has planted the Village of Hope “for such a time as this”.

With open hearts and open arms, we will open all of our facilities. As of March 20th, we facilitated more than 100 children. Our capacity for long term care of these little refugees in one hundred. These children need our help today! One hundred percent of all donations will go to care for the refugee children of Ukraine. None of the donations will be used for administration expenses.

This is beyond our budget, but not beyond God’s provisions.  “If not you, who? If not now, when?” Together we can make a difference.
